You may request the celebration of Mass for newlyweds, priests, a deceased person, the sick, a parent, a friend, yourself, for the life of the Church, for special graces, for a particular intention...

A Mass cannot be "bought". It has no price; one speaks, rather, of an offering, made to the priest for his subsistence. It is also a symbol of the sacrifice which unites the Faithful with the sacrifice of Christ.

Offering

For one Mass, the offering is from €15

For a novena, the offering is from €150

For a month’s Masses (for a deceased person), the offering is from €465

The French bishops fix the amounts for Mass offerings diocese by diocese. This scale is not a “fixed price”, but rather a suggestion that each Christian may adapt to his own circumstances. Nobody should be refused because of a lack of resources. You can inquire about the date on which the Masses will be celebrated so that you can unite yourself with the priest’s intention.
